Cache Youth Chorus
Ages 14-18 years (changed voices)
Thursdays from 5:15 to 6:45 PMTuition for 2005-2006 is $70/semester or $126/yr
plus a uniform fee.

CYC is open to C.C.C. alumni and others as well. Under the dynamic dual direction of Bonnie Slade and Merrilee Broadbent, the Cache Youth Chorus promises to bring together talented young people desiring to pool their resources in high-level choral singing, performing opportunities and extended vocal training.

Staff:

Bonnie Slade Youth Chorus Co-Director has been associated with C.C.C. since 1989. Under
her direction the choir grew from 9 singers to over 200 children and 6
divisions. Although she is best known for her direction of the Cantate
Choir, Mrs. Slade is also recognized as a fine singer and teacher. Her voice
students have received notoriety in Utah. She taught voice and directed
choirs for Utah State University Music Department for 19 years. She also
serves as Concert Choir director.

Merrilee Broadbent-Youth Chorus Co-Director
Merrilee grew up in Burley, Idaho, where she started playing the piano by ear at age three. She studied piano with Teala Bellini in Twin Falls and with Dale Parkinson at Rick’s College, where she won the concerto competition.
