Bonnie Slade-Vocal Performance Camp Director/ Board of Trustees President
Mrs. Slade has been associated with C.C.C. since 1989. Under her direction the choir grew from 9 singers to over 200 children and 6divisions. Although she is best known for her direction of the Cantate Choir, Mrs. Slade is also recognized as a fine singer and teacher. Her voicestudents have received notoriety in Utah. She taught voice and directed choirs for Utah State University Music Department for 19 years.

Leslie Timmons-Education Coordinator
Leslie provides Orff Schulwerk music and movement instruction for the choir. As Associate Professor in the Music Department at Utah State University she is responsible for the flute studio and Elementary Music Education courses and is flutist with the flue/clarinet duo AirFaire and faculty wind quintet Logan Canyon Winds. She is a clinician for Orff teacher education workshops which she has given across the country and in Haiti, Guatemala and in the Netherlands.

Jill DeVilbiss-Cantate Choir Director
Jill has degrees from Utah State University in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, and Choral Education. She has completed all three levels of the Kodaly Course for Children’s Music and all three levels of Orff Musicianship Training. She teaches music at Edith Bowen Laboratory School.

Merrilee Broadbent- Cantate Choir Accompanist  
Merrilee Broadbent started playing the piano when she was 3 yrs. old, accompanying in the first grade, and gave her first solo recital at age nine. Since that time she has played for musicals, oratorios, operas, All-state choir, All-Northwest choir, competitions and many small ensembles and soloists. She studied for many years with Teala Bellini of Twin Falls, Idaho, as well as Del Parkinson. She has been an accompanist as well as a co-director with the Cache Children's Choir for many years and is glad to be part of such a great organization.

Melody Francis- Concert Choir Director
Melody is a graduate of Utah State University and certified public school teacher. She has completed all three levels of the Kodaly Course for Children’s Music Education and level 1 of Orff Musicianship Training.

Leslie Moon- Concert Choir Accompanist

Kathryn Hadfield- Cadet Choir Co -Director
Kathryn Hadfield has been involved in music her entire life. She played the flute in the Sky View Band program, plays the guitar and enjoys singing. She has a degreee in Home Economics Education from USU. She is married to Randy Hadfield and they are the parents of 6 children and 6 grandchildren. She loves being involved with teaching music to children and working with the great people in Cache Children's Choir.

David Gilbert - Cadet Choir Co-Director
David graduated from Utah State University in Piano Pedagogy, and Elementary Education.  He also received his Kodaly Certification at Brigham Young University.  He is an active member of the Utah Music Teachers Association, teaches fourth grade at Greenville Elementary School and enjoys teaching piano.

Marianne Sidwell-Caprice Choir Co-Director
Marianne is accomplished on flute, guitar and dulcimer and she enjoys performing and composing. She has a B.A. from Utah State University and has done some graduate work in Kodaly Music Education. She is also a music specialist for Utah Festival Opera’s Education Program.

Michelle Farrell - Caprice Choir
Michelle holds a degree from USU in Choral Music Education. She is also certified in level 1 of Orff Musicianship Training. She has many years of experience in voice and piano and enjoys playing a variety of other instruments as well as arranging music. 

Christine Burnett- Cadenza Choir Co-Director
Christine Burnett is a mother of four, a composer, and the creator of the Melody Lou children's education through music literature.  She received a BA from BYU in Early Childhood Education and continues her music education in the sudy of the Kodaly music philosophy.  She has worked as a piano, composition, and preschool teacher and is excited to work with Cache Children's Choir.  She will be co-directing the preschool class, Cadenza.

Katrisha Jensen- Cadenza Choir Co-Director
Katrisha has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Utah State University with a Minor in Music. She enjoys working with children and is also an excellent musician. She is an experienced singer and also plays the cello, piano, and various small wind instruments. She enjoys performing and choir directing.

Cache Children’s Choir is a nonprofit organization
that strives to:

• Prepare children for a lifetime of singing by providing quality music training
• Develop the talent and self-esteem of children through guided
musical experiences
• Share music and information with the public to develop an
educated audience
• Foster the creation of new works for children’s voices
